Licensed Child and Adolescent Mental Health Therapist

Summary

Join our fully remote team as a California-licensed mental health therapist at Handspring, earning $70-72k base salary with potential to earn up to $30k more annually.

Requirements

• Licensed mental health professionals with at least 3 years post-graduate experience providing psychotherapy
• Active unrestricted license in California
• Must reside in the Pacific Time Zone (PT)
• Ability to work independently with a strong interest in collaboration and learning
• Clinical experience working with young people and their families
• Knowledge of and/or some training in evidence based mental health treatments

Responsibilities

• Work a base schedule of 30 hours a week
• Provide weekly psychotherapy using CBT and other evidence-based practices to children ages 8-17 and young adults over age 18 years
• Participate in weekly 1-on-1 case consultations, weekly team consultations, peer-only huddles, and ongoing professional development programming
• Complete clinical notes and documentations in a timely manner
• Communicate with your client’s pediatricians, school counselors, and other members of their family, as needed
