Summary

Join NBCUniversal as a Line Producer! This project-based role (approximately 5 months) reports to the Executive in Charge of Production and focuses on the day-to-day operational duties of the production office and studio. You will track costs, manage production, coordinate with various departments, and manage studio schedules. The ideal candidate possesses at least one year of experience as a Line Producer in film or television, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. While a Bachelor's degree is preferred, the most important qualifications are experience and skills. The position requires flexibility, including overtime, nights, and weekends.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Teams and navigating the internet
  • Minimum 1-year prior experience as a Line Producer in film or television
  • Prior experience managing a team
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in United States
  • Must be able to work in Stamford, CT and remotely
  • Must be willing to work overtime, nights, holidays, and weekends, often with short notice
  • Must be covered by Solutions, NBCUโ€™s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

Responsibilities

  • Track Costs for the EIC and Accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Manage Production under EICโ€™s supervision
  • Coordinate with HR, Legal and Accounting to ensure compliant processes
  • Responsible for studio schedules as well as serving as the primary point of contact for Studio Operations
  • Other ad-hoc duties as outlined by Manager

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Line Producer for a daytime talk show preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments under high pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow direction and work independently when necessary
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred
