Logistics Specialist

Summary

Join Move as a Logistics Specialist and play a strategic role in optimizing end-to-end logistics across our client base. You will analyze 3PL contracts, in-house operations, and freight arrangements to create efficient and cost-effective solutions. This role involves designing strategies to improve service, reduce costs, and support client growth. Key responsibilities include evaluating logistics providers, assessing in-house versus outsourced logistics, designing customized logistics solutions, identifying cost savings, and collaborating with internal teams. You will monitor industry trends and present findings to stakeholders. This is a remote position offering flexible hours.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years experience in logistics, supply chain strategy, or 3PL operations
• Strong background in logistics contract evaluation, freight analysis, or solution design
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with cost modeling preferred
• Strong communication skills with ability to present complex recommendations clearly
• Experience working in a remote, fast-paced, and client-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the performance and cost-efficiency of existing 3PL contracts and logistics providers
• Assess in-house vs. outsourced logistics setups to determine the most optimal model for each client
• Design customized logistics solutions covering warehousing, fulfillment, and freight management
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational gaps across supply chain operations
• Support solution development for new clients and projects, including budget modeling and process design
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Client Success, Finance) to align logistics strategy with client needs
• Monitor industry trends and emerging best practices to ensure competitive advantage in service design
• Develop and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
