Summary
Join Syndio, a Series C technology company, in our mission to eradicate workplace inequities and help companies create fair workplaces. As a Manager, Advice & Analytics, you will lead a team of data analysts and consultants, providing expert advice on pay equity to internal teams and customers. You'll manage team workload, provide coaching, and collaborate with other departments. This fully remote position (Netherlands-based) requires experience in pay equity, compensation, or HR consulting, along with strong analytical and communication skills. Requirements
- You are passionate about our mission to close pay gaps and create fairness in the workplace
- You’re an experienced people manager who has led teams of data analysts and consultants
- You have the ability to coach team members on complex topics and identify strategies to address team member concerns
- You have experience or knowledge in pay equity, compensation, HR consulting, or compliance-related analytics (We do not provide legal advice, but the individual in this role is expected to provide expert-level compliance advice.)
- You have experience or knowledge about pay gap reporting requirements in one or more countries and/or the EU Pay Transparency Directive
- You have a proven track record of developing and applying statistical knowledge to data driven questions
- You are comfortable generating and interpreting statistical models, analyses, graphs and data
- You have demonstrated experience with a variety of analytical tools (e.g. R, Python, Excel, SQL, etc.)
- You have the ability to explain and present complicated concepts and research projects to diverse audiences (e.g. in-house counsel, c-suite, HR analytics, etc.)
- You are deeply curious, willing to explore all aspects of the product to understand and identify new opportunities to meet customer needs
- You have strong attention to detail in all aspects of your work, but especially around the reliability and accuracy of your advice and analyses
- You are a self-starter who thrives working independently to solve complex problems, with minimal supervision, in a collaborative, kind, and supportive environment
- You are driven to provide solutions that meet customer needs in a flexible, and often proactive, way
- You are willing to ask questions and turn to your teammates for support and expertise
- You’re excited to own and drive initiatives within Syndio that leverage and build your skills and interests
- This position is fully remote but must be located in the Netherlands
Responsibilities
- Directly lead, build and manage an industry-focused team of data analysts and consultants as we expand our customer base
- Manage distribution of work for team members, including customer assignment and distribution of internal projects including customer custom analytics, research projects, and documentation
- Provide coaching, resources, and advice to team members to establish expertise in methodology, analytics, and advanced data techniques
- Support team and individual goal development and tracking to measure impact of custom analyses to overall company targets
- Partner with Customer Experience leadership to assess progress & required improvements to achieve stated team goals
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Customer Success and Sales teams for insights to refine and execute research and data strategy that builds on the team’s subject matter expertise
- Embody our Syndio values and ensure they’re reflected in all of our internal and customer communications
- Draw on your expertise in compensation, HR, employment law, economics, or diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) strategy as well as Syndio-provided training on pay equity best practices to provide expert advice on advanced pay equity topics to customers, fellow employees, and external audiences
- Serve as a go-to resource and thought leader for a subset of topics relating to supporting Syndio’s products
- Identify and help prioritize ways to better support customers through processes, custom analytics and product features. Help define and execute projects and initiatives that help remove these blockers in order to delight customers
- Support the development of improved internal workflows to improve operational efficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- At least a master’s degree with significant coursework in a quantitative field, such as economics, statistics, mathematics, sociology, physics, or computer science
- Experience consulting Fortune 500 organizations on topics related to their people, such as compensation, HR policies, diversity, equity & inclusion initiatives, etc
- Fluency in German, French, and/or a nordic language
Benefits
- Competitive Compensation. €120,000 - €140,000. This is inclusive of holiday allowance. Final offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience and expertise
