- You can juggle multiple projects simultaneously and are excited about building processes that ensure efficiency. A robust Google doc, new project planning tools, and Salesforce tasks/reports make you want to jump for joy
- You are self-motivated with a problem-solving, solution-focused philosophy. You find the “yes” in every situation, you work to provide an incredible experience to anyone you support, and you love finding the best way for all parties to achieve their objectives
- You love working with a team, you know how to encourage and motivate others, and you’re constantly looking for ways to support others so that everyone is successful

- You have experience in building relationships and managing multiple accounts as a part of your professional career (likely in fundraising, sales, customer success, or revenue-driving work). You independently cultivate deep relationships. You know what it takes to consult with partners on their goals and can inspire a partner to commit funding to an initiative. You juggle many deadlines and priorities, and are able to outline the benefits and potential obstacles of a plan or project
Responsibilities
- Grow and sustain partner support
- Contribute to our pod revenue goal by creating a strategic plan to secure renewals from your portfolio of 30-50 $100K-$249K partners annually
- Creatively develop campaigns using our standard products and processes to meet unique partner goals
- Cultivate relationships with your partners. Become the expert on what motivates them, what constraints they might face, how their organizations are structured, and what may be on the horizon to drive retention and increased partner support
- Identify opportunities to meet additional business or impact goals for your partners and craft customized pitch ideas to engage each partner and inspire them to support our mission
- Manage and execute best-in-class partner campaigns
- Work directly with corporate and foundation partners to meet partner goals, impact milestones, and organizational priorities
- Write and compile compelling emails, proposals, and reports, and prepare for partner meetings
- Manage tasks in Salesforce to ensure we meet all partner expectations for their grant, through on-time delivery of campaigns, reporting, and excellent customer experience. This requires maintenance of partnership records, continuously updating key details and logging emails, calls, and meeting notes
- Analyze and present data and stories to illustrate partners’ impact, always working toward a renewal
- Contribute to team Support the development of documentation, tools, and systems to scalably manage the renewal pipeline as it continues to grow
- All team members share sales and partnership strategies, support teammates when needed, and identify other opportunities to contribute to the team and organizational culture
- Play a key role in our evolution to more directly address racial inequity in education through our partnerships
Benefits
- The hiring salary range for this role is $70,000 - $78,000
- We have a hiring salary range of $76,000 - $84,000 for specific higher cost of labor locations, which include New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Boston, and Washington, D.C
- Once employees are hired, everyone at DonorsChoose is eligible to receive annual performance-based raises as they grow in their role
- In addition, we offer full-time staff 25 paid vacation days per year and 11 paid holidays

- All work-related travel expenses will be covered by the organization
