Summary

Join GoDaddy's Corporate Development team and play a foundational role in driving company growth. This remote position supports transaction teams in strategic investments and acquisitions, helping craft future growth by identifying, evaluating, and developing investment and acquisition opportunities. You will lead and manage the end-to-end M&A process, collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct market research, and develop key relationships. Responsibilities include financial modeling, valuation analysis, and supporting post-merger integration. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, or management consulting
  • Proven track record of successfully evaluating, executing and managing M&A transactions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and financial statements
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques

Responsibilities

  • Be the true Corporate Development athlete – for some deals, you will get to lead end-to-end and for some, support the VP or Senior Director
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end M&A process, including sourcing, evaluating negotiating, and closing deals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify strategic opportunities and develop business cases for potential acquisitions
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key industry players, investment banks, and advisors
  • Prepare and present detailed reports, including financial modeling and valuation analysis
  • Support post-merger integration efforts to ensure seamless transitions and maximize value creation
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify potential areas for growth and innovation
  • Assist in the development of playbooks that help drive repeatable processes and best-in-class execution

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Prior experience of at least 2 years in bulge-bracket investment banking or corporate development
  • Experience in the technology sector or working with local and small businesses
  • Proficiency in AI tools, especially as it relates to using them in corporate development
