Manager Financial Operations

Summary

Join Connor Group as a remote professional to manage assigned project areas, prepare project plans, participate in meetings, lead junior team members, and develop specialized expertise. Minimum 5 -7 years consulting/industry experience required.

Requirements

• Good understanding of key business and finance processes
• Experience in helping companies identify improvements in key process areas and in assisting with implementing those improvements
• Excellent interpersonal, writing, communication, and presentation skills
• Experience managing teams and projects
• Business consulting experience
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Minimum 5 -7 years consulting/industry experience required
• A willingness to travel (About 10%)

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete assigned project areas, creating high quality deliverables
• Prepare project plans, including key milestones and deliverables, and track and report on status, progress and risks
• Participate in and facilitate engagement team and client meetings and presentations
• Lead and train junior team members
• Prepare and monitor budgets and client billings

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to financial systems and tools beneficial (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, BlackLine, Zuora, Coupa, Hyperion, Business Intelligence Databases)
• CPA and or MBA beneficial
• Six Sigma Green or Blackbelt beneficial
