Summary

Join Neo4j as a Manager, HR Operations to lead and optimize critical HR functions across the AMER/APAC region. You will manage a team, ensuring HR compliance, enhancing employee onboarding/offboarding, driving process improvement and automation, and overseeing immigration processes. This strategic and hands-on role requires strong people management skills and experience in HR operations within technology companies. You will collaborate cross-functionally to streamline workflows, enhance data-driven decision-making, and create an exceptional employee journey. The role is remote, based in Eastern or Central Time Zones.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in each of the core areas of focus: Managing an HR operations team in small to mid-sized technology companies
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in each of the core areas of focus: Managing HR compliance & processes
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in each of the core areas of focus: Managing all employee lifecycle components of onboarding & offboarding
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in each of the core areas of focus: Driving process improvement & automation
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in each of the core areas of focus: Managing data integrity and reporting
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in each of the core areas of focus: Managing vendor relationships that support the HR operations function
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in each of the core areas of focus: Collaborate cross-functionally in a global environment
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in this area of focus: Managing operational aspects of the immigration process

Responsibilities

  • Inspire, motivate, and guide teams toward operational success. This includes setting goals, defining expectations, and holding team members accountable
  • Optimize HR Compliance & Processes – Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws related to employee onboarding and offboarding, while continuously refining processes for efficiency and accuracy
  • Enhance Employee Onboarding & Offboarding – Design and implement seamless onboarding and offboarding experiences that support employee engagement, compliance, and operational excellence
  • Drive Process Improvement & Automation – Identify opportunities to automate and streamline HR workflows, leveraging technology to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and enhance the employee experience
  • Manage Immigration Process & External Counsel Relationship – Oversee immigration processes, including visa sponsorship and compliance, while partnering with legal counsel to ensure a smooth experience for employees and business continuity
  • Ensure HR Data Accuracy & Insights – Maintain HR system integrity, ensure accurate employee data management, and generate insights to support data-driven decision-making and workforce planning
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally – Partner with key stakeholders across the People Team IT, Finance, Legal, and business leaders to align People Operations initiatives with company goals and improve overall employee experience
