Requirements
- Degree in Communications, Business, or related fields
- 5+ years experience in internal communications and/or change management
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., Teams, OneDrive, Outlook)
- Exceptional writing, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement abilities with high emotional intelligence
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Create and distribute engaging content for internal newsletters, internal social media platforms
- Oversee internal communications for Senior Leadership Team through producing articles, videos, scripting, presentation decks, etc
- Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies aligned with business goals
- Lead change initiatives across departments, focusing on digital transformation and operational scalability
- Partner with stakeholders to build and execute change plans using proven methodologies
- Collaborate with IT department and other department leads on rollout timelines, training, documentation, and user readiness
- Monitor feedback and usage to adapt messaging and enhance the employee experience during migration
- Design and implement standardized procedures and policies to support growth and operational efficiency
- Facilitate documentation and communication of new processes across teams
- Serve as a liaison between between leadership, departments, and project teams to ensure alignment and buy-in
- Develop and execute communication plans to articulate the vision and benefits of change
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and feedback forums to support employee engagement
- Track KPIs and ROI of change initiatives and digital projects
- Conduct impact assessments and report progress and insights to senior leadership
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Communications and/or change management experience preferably within the retail or food service industry
- Experience in franchise environment considered an asset
