Manager, Portfolio

Summary

Join Pathward, a hybrid, remote-office financial empowerment company, and become a key member of the Alternative Energy Government Loan Portfolio team. Manage the team's day-to-day activities, including personnel management and performance reviews. Develop and implement credit origination metrics, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Collaborate with various departments to manage portfolio exposure, performance, and workout strategies for troubled accounts. Work with the Data Analytics team to develop portfolio reports and utilize data to manage credit origination metrics. Review customer documentation and coordinate responses to auditor requests. This role requires strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience
• Typically 5+ years with bachelor's or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day activity of the Alternative Energy Government Loan Portfolio team
• Perform all managerial duties related to team personnel, including hiring, performance reviews, discipline, coaching, and development
• Responsibility of managing credit origination scorecard and approval authorization levels
• Develop and document department policies and procedures
• Ensure that periodic reviews are being performed within established guidelines
• Ensure risk ratings are being applied according to guidelines and updated in the leasing system
• Work with Collections, Asset Management Group, and Legal to develop and implement strategy for troubled and/or severely past due accounts to resolve delinquency, forbearance agreements, and payoffs
• Complete Adverse Assets Reports as required
• Work with Data Analytics team to develop portfolio reports to monitor exposures, origination sources and trends
• Utilize portfolio and industry data to manage and update metrics used within credit origination
• Review and understand customer documentation and reporting requirements
• Coordinate responses to internal and external auditor requests for the department
• Work hand in hand with third party service providers
• Other duties as assigned
