Summary
Join Procore as a Manager of Project Management, Public Sector to lead and inspire a team focused on delivering professional services to public sector clients. You will oversee project execution, ensure Statement of Work compliance, and refine operational metrics. This role requires expertise in project management, leadership, and a customer-centric approach. The position reports to the Director of Professional Services and offers remote work options. Responsibilities include managing project managers, ensuring project success, and developing team members. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in customer success, public sector clients, and team leadership.
Requirements
- 7+ years of customer success and service experience supporting SaaS platforms, including onboarding, training, project management, and client relationship management, with at least 2+ years focused on Public Sector clients
- 4+ years of experience directly leading and developing high-performing teams
- Proven experience creating and delivering complex, six-figure+ Statements of Work, including full project management across budget, timelines, deliverables, and milestones, with the ability to effectively communicate status, risks, and progress to Enterprise leaders and C-level executives
- Experience delivering services to Enterprise-level Public Sector clients in collaboration with Technical Services and Sales, with a deep understanding of value drivers in both recurring revenue and professional services business models
- Proven experience navigating the RFP process and crafting tailored RFP responses for Public Sector agencies
- Customer-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a history of managing customer expectations, and negotiating appropriate resolutions to issues
- Enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire and motivate others, influence through persuasion and negotiation, and drive consensus-building
- Strong empathy for customers combined with a passion for revenue growth, an analytical and process-oriented mindset, and a demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with deep understanding and experience in Professional Services Automation, Financial, Construction, Customer Relationship Management, Project Management, or ERP software solutions; experience related to Top ENR construction and/or financial industry is a plus
- Up to 25% travel; Bachelorβs degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Own the overall success of a team of project managers overseeing our medium to large sized business accounts from Federal, State, and Local Government, Education and Healthcare industries. This includes planning, executing and staffing to assure an outstanding client experience that decreases time to fast value and drives renewals and contract expansions
- Provide oversight on active projects to ensure proper management of Statements of Work and delivery of commitments for up to six-figure services offerings while also maintaining compliance with company policies and SOX requirements
- Attain mastery over and become a subject matter expert in Procore services engagements, while creating efficiencies in processes and procedures to promote product adoption and faster software implementations
- Track and measure KPIs (including Billable Utilization, On-Time and On-Budget projects, and rapid customer adoption), project milestones, onboarding tasks, advocate for Procore clients and manage escalations with effective client resolutions
- Grow the effectiveness of the project management team by refining operational metrics, creating reporting and review cadences, and providing status updates to the executive team
- Develop employees, retain talent, and define career paths
- Collaborate with Sales, driving services scoping and discussions during the sales process, while also connecting with Clients and Prospects to deliver the value of our implementation services
Benefits
- Base Pay Range $104,380 - $143,522 plus commission for an estimated on-target earnings of $122,800 - $168,850. This role is also eligible for Equity Compensation
