Manager, Software Engineering - Mobile

Summary

Join Samsara's Commercial Navigation team as an Engineering Manager and lead the development of mobile applications for commercial vehicle navigation using iOS and React Native. Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years leading mobile teams
• Experience building production-grade 0-1 mobile apps
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, performance, and platform APIs
• Proficient in React Native and iOS development (Swift or Objective-C)
• Experience with mapping SDKs and geolocation APIs
• Familiar with mobile CI/CD, build tools and test automation

Responsibilities

• Work with other teams to integrate routing data to provide optimal navigation for drivers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building mobile apps for drivers or field workers
