Summary
Join our team as the Manager, Strategic Learning and Evaluation! This primarily remote role (with 10% travel) involves leading research, program evaluation, and evaluation initiatives. You will oversee data collection and analysis, facilitate strategic learning sessions, and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Collaborating across teams, you'll promote evaluative thinking and a data-driven culture. The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience in program evaluation and 3 years presenting findings to stakeholders. A starting salary range of $73,300 - $91,000 is offered (adjusted for location).
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience designing and implementing program evaluations, including familiarity with a range of evaluation approaches and qualitative and quantitative methods
- 3 years' experience presenting findings to stakeholders and facilitating discussions to generate actionable insights
- Comfortable working with substantial amounts of qualitative and quantitative data, including organizing and preparing datasets for analysis
- Proficiency in basic qualitative data analysis and descriptive statistics
- Strong skills in synthesizing and communicating evaluation findings, including facilitating learning discussions and guiding stakeholders to derive actionable insights
- Knowledge of equitable evaluation and culturally responsive evaluation frameworks, with the experience applying these practices
- Active engagement with the field of evaluation, maintaining awareness of emerging theories, methods, and approaches, and incorporating relevant advancements into the organization’s evaluation practices
Responsibilities
- Design and implement internal evaluations to assess program effectiveness, refine theories of change, and inform the evolution of organizational strategies and initiatives
- Collaborate with other teams to draw insights from extensive data resources, applying appropriate methods to analyze and visualize findings that inform strategic decisions and improve program outcomes
- Facilitate learning and meaning-making across teams and other stakeholders around data and evaluation findings, that fosters discussions and informs how programs, initiatives, and strategies advance and adapt overtime
- Contribute to the annual strategic work planning process, ensuring team-specific plans align with organizational strategies and priorities
- Promote evaluative thinking across the organization, driving efforts to embed a culture of continuous learning and adaptation at all levels
- Apply new and innovative tools, methods, and frameworks to contribute to how the Strategic Learning and Evaluation function evolves over time
- Promote the application of equitable and culturally responsive practices to the organization’s evaluation activities
Preferred Qualifications
