Summary

Join Sand Cherry Associates as a short-term consultant for 2-3 months to develop a strategic plan, business case, program structure, and project plan for a corporate initiative at a large enterprise. This remote role requires extensive experience in strategic planning, business case development, program management, and digitization systems. You will conduct stakeholder interviews, analyze data, and build project plans using methodologies like PMI or PMP. Executive presence, strong communication skills, and experience in operations and learning and development are essential. The role involves managing multiple workstreams, building status reports for executive leadership, and ensuring on-time and within-budget project delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6-7 years project or program management experience managing multiple workstreams, ideally in large companies in the Operations and Learning and Development space
  • Consulting experience is important and the ability to be executive facing with numerous stakeholders
  • Proven knowledge of digitization systems/tools, as well as project and program management methodology
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills to stakeholders including the ability to influence, strategize, negotiate and present materials succinctly
  • Ability to think analytically and process information quickly, presenting it in a succinct and insightful format suitable for executives
  • Minimum of 7 years of consulting and program/project management experience and experience with formal project management methodology
  • Experience working with stakeholders across a large and complex organization
  • Bachelor’s in Business, Project Management, Communications, or related is required

Responsibilities

  • Hold stakeholder interviews and assess needs. Document each discussion in detail and summarize business needs
  • Establish plan to accomplish tasks/deliverables for this engagement, efficiently. Document program deliverables utilizing PMI or PMP methodology
  • Identify data needs and coordinate with applicable points of contact to collect and accurately interpret information
  • Analyze and synthesize collected information, then document findings
  • Partner with cross functional resources to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables
  • Facilitate, document, and lead project meetings and manage stakeholders’ communication
  • Build regular project status documents for executive leadership teams
  • Identify program KPIs to assess impact Develop strategic plan, and business case with ROI
  • Develop program structure and project plan with timelines in MS PowerPoint, Excel and MS Project. Document program deliverables utilizing PMI or PMP methodology
  • Integrate business policies and governance processes into planning & accountability for project roadmaps and execution strategy
  • Establish risk management, escalation paths, and take corrective measurements
  • Assess and recommend digitization tools/systems and processes
  • Hold regular check-ins with Sand Cherry and client leadership. Collect feedback and incorporate into final deliverable
  • Provide and perform quality assurance checks on project deliverables
  • Own overall delivery of project deliverables, ensuring on-time delivery, meeting of budgetary demands, and achievement of business goals
  • Consistently exercise informed judgment and discretion in matters of significance

Preferred Qualifications

PMP certification is preferred
