Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience and
  • 4 - 6 years of relevant experience in technical operations, SRE, etc., to include
  • 2 or more years experience managing engineering teams
  • 2 or more years experience in cloud operations
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-organizational projects and workstreams
  • Proven Project and Process Management experience including document creation and status tracking

Responsibilities

  • Establish processes and define key metrics to measure the health and success of Quanata's incident management program, driving continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement FinOps strategies to optimize the cost-effectiveness of our software and technical infrastructure, providing insights and recommendations for efficiency improvements
  • Define and enforce standards for the comprehensive monitoring of production systems and platforms to ensure overall business health and proactively identify potential issues
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and other cross-functional teams to ensure operational readiness for new deployments and ongoing platform maintenance
  • Oversee the planning, development, and execution of Quanata's disaster recovery program, including testing and documentation
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and other cross-functional teams to ensure operational readiness for new deployments and ongoing platform maintenance
  • Establish and maintain key operational metrics and reporting to track performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement across technical operations
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for operational procedures, incident management protocols, and disaster recovery plans
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers related to technical operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in AWS and GCP
  • Experience working in regulated industries
  • Insurance industry experience
  • 4 years experience managing engineering teams
