Manual QA Engineer

Summary

The job is for a QA Tester in Xealth's Customer Operations team. The role involves providing test/QA coverage for web and mobile applications, APIs, data pipelines, security, and more. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Thorough understanding of quality and testing principles, techniques, and protocols
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience working hands on with customers
• Hands-on experience with testing browser-based web applications and RESTful APIs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly report a bug with steps and description
• Strong problem-solving skills and proven ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work independently to investigate and troubleshoot bugs

Responsibilities

• Provide Test / QA coverage for web and mobile applications, APIs, data pipelines, security, and more
• Write test plans and test scripts for various use case workflow, feature and regression testing
• Execute tests and report bugs both during the development phase and as part of routine regression/exploratory testing
• Review .yaml configurations for potential issues, execute pre-testing, participate in UAT calls, and review AWS logs
• Work with the Product and Engineering teams to define and document acceptance criteria
• Assist in real-time with testing, and troubleshooting of the Xealth product during customer-facing calls

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 3rd party EMR systems like Epic and Cerner is a big plus!
• An interest or previous experience in the healthcare industry
• Experience with AWS toolset (specifically Cloudwatch)
• Experience with JIRA or a similar tool
• Experience with Mongo DB (data querying)
