Requirements

• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Strong critical thinking foreseeing design flaws and potential issues
• Strong market data knowledge (tradfi works, but crypto experience is highly desirable)
• Strong network programming skills including kernel bypass techniques. Knowledge about network protocols (Websockets/HTTP/TCP/UDP/IP)
• Strong low level C++ skills
• Strong inter-thread/process communication skills. Lockless shared memory data structures knowledge
• Good hardware knowledge (CPU, memory+NUMA, NIC)
• Good Linux system knowledge

Responsibilities

• Designing the high level system architecture covering data dissemination across the globe
• Squeezing the last cycles and bits of cache out of CPUs feeding our low latency trading strategies
• Improving data encoding decreasing shared memory footprint and saving bandwidth of our fast network lines
• Optimizing connectivity to the existing venues leveraging trading systems and outcompeting others in the race
• Providing connectivity to new venues widening our market coverage
• Prioritization of your team work among overall company work items
• Development and growth of Engineering team members
