Market Manager in Canada

Summary

We’re looking for a Canadian based Market Manager to join Hopper’s Hotel team. The role involves finding, developing, and maintaining a portfolio of hotels, ensuring their attractiveness to Hopper customers, and maximizing sales for hotel partners.

Requirements

• 2-5+ years of relevant experience in the Hospitality industry with a passion for Travel and Hopper’s mission
• A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding job performance goals
• Experience closing deals through complex sales engagements and understanding varied sales methodologies
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams
• Proactive attitude and appetite for working with fast-changing technology in a fast-paced environment
• Good work prioritization skills to remain focused on achieving target KPIs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Build and expand a portfolio of local hotel partners by negotiating distribution partnerships, facilitating onboarding, and managing day-to-day relationships with hotels
• Execute effectively based on KPI metrics set by Hopper leadership
• Engage with individual hotels and hotel groups across Canada to achieve targets
• Ensure partner hotels’ product is optimized and competitive on the Hopper app
• Maximize sales for hotel partners by providing data insights, support services, and collaborating with Hopper teams
• Represent Hopper in the local market and build company profile with key influencers
• Educate Hopper colleagues on market dynamics and specific needs from your portfolio
