Join Samsara's Marketing Analytics team as a Marketing Analytics Manager and leverage your data analysis skills to drive business decisions. You will build and manage reporting dashboards, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide data-driven insights to Sales and Marketing teams. This remote role, open to US and Canadian candidates (excluding specific areas), offers the opportunity to impact global industries and contribute to a high-growth company. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, communicate insights through compelling data visualizations, and champion Samsara's cultural principles. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in SQL and Tableau, and relevant experience. Requirements
- Bachelor's in Statistics, Computer Science, Business or other related analytical fields
- 3+ years of relevant analytics or business intelligence work experience
- Proficient in SQL and visualization platforms (Tableau preferred)
- Advanced Excel/google sheets skills including pivots, vlookups, and ability to build complex formulas
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with experience in data analysis
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize and communicate results and tell compelling stories with data
Responsibilities
- Build and manage reporting dashboards to track performance of key account identification and enrichment processes
- Develop dashboards and analyses to surface business-critical KPIs and assess sales and marketing performance
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and deep dives to uncover key insights across programs and initiatives to inform strategy and decision making
- Communicate insights using data visualization and presentations to a range of stakeholders
- Closely partner with Sales and Marketing teams as an advisor - ensure they understand the performance of their efforts and have actionable recommendations
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsaraβs cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
Preferred Qualifications
- Sales and marketing experience including familiarity with MarTech tools
- Hands-on experience working with Databricks
- Data Science, machine learning or predictive analytics experience
- Comfort working in an exploratory environment, testing and iterating on new data sources and methodologies
