Marketing Business Developer

Summary

Join Allego Charging as their Marketing Manager to lead strategic marketing efforts and support business development initiatives. This role centers on driving external marketing campaigns and maximizing the utilization of their EV charger network. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful campaign and strategy execution, contributing to sustainable transportation growth in the UK. Key responsibilities include developing and executing marketing campaigns, managing bids and tenders, identifying new partnership opportunities, and optimizing EV charger network performance. The ideal candidate possesses proven marketing experience, strong communication and project management skills, and a data-driven approach. A remote-based role with occasional travel is expected.

Requirements

• Proven experience in marketing with a strong understanding of bid and tendering processes

• Analytical and data-driven approach to optimise campaigns and utilisation strategies

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proficiency with marketing tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing campaigns to enhance Allego Charging’s brand across the UK
• Manage bids and tenders
• Identify new opportunities through strategic partnerships
• Design and implement utilisation strategies to maximise the performance and adoption of Allego’s existing EV charger estate
• Conduct external marketing activities, to strengthen Allego’s market presence
• Conduct market research and analyse data to refine marketing strategies and support tender submissions
• Create marketing content and collateral to support both external and internal communications
• Build relationships with partners, clients, and internal teams
• Manage and oversee Point Of Interest (POI) data, ensuring Allego’s charging locations are accurately represented on external platforms (ZapMap, Google Maps). This involves coordinating with third-party platforms to make necessary corrections and updates as required
• Assist in the development of compelling and innovative client presentations, ensuring they are polished, and where possible, automated or immersive

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the EV charging or energy sector is highly desirable
• Experience in driving the utilisation of physical assets, such as networks or infrastructure, is a plus
