Marketing & Commercial Associate

Summary

You will work closely with the revenue director and sales team to drive marketing execution, contribute to strategy across all channels, and ensure a strong industry presence. This role involves bridging marketing and sales, contributing to lead generation efforts, refining the customer lifecycle, and supporting commercial growth. You will also develop high-quality content, create marketing and sales enablement materials, coordinate external events, and contribute to process improvement and documentation. This position requires strong technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in B2B marketing.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in English
• Strong ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into engaging content
• Hands-on experience in B2B marketing , including campaign execution across multiple channels
• At least 3 years of combined commercial experience , with at least 2 years specifically in B2B marketing
• Strong copywriting and content creation skills
• Ability to plan and coordinate external events effectively

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the revenue director, sales team, and wider commercial and operations teams, this role will involve
• Driving DeepSea’s marketing execution & contributing to strategy across all channels, ensuring a strong industry presence
• Bridging marketing and sales , contributing to lead generation efforts, refining the customer lifecycle, and supporting commercial growth
• Developing high-quality content that communicates DeepSea’s mission, products, and insights in a compelling and accessible way
• Creating marketing and sales enablement materials to support various stages of the customer journey
• Coordinating external events to maximise brand exposure and commercial impact
• Process improvement & documentation to help optimise and systematise DeepSea’s commercial function
• Crafting and executing thought leadership campaigns in collaboration with PR support

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the shipping industry
• Familiarity with technology or engineering fields
• Experience in startups or scale-ups
