Summary
Join ASAPP as a Marketing Intern and contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will manage social media channels, create compelling content, coordinate content workflows, support PR and brand storytelling, and analyze performance. This internship offers hands-on experience in a startup setting, working directly with the Director of Content & Design and cross-functionally with various teams. You will develop your skills in content creation, social media management, and data analysis. The ideal candidate is a current student or recent graduate with strong writing and editing skills, familiarity with social media and content creation tools, and a portfolio showcasing their storytelling abilities. Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
Requirements
- Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Strong writing and editing skills—with examples to share
- Familiarity with social media platforms, content planning and creation tools, and basic analytics
- A portfolio of writing samples that show your storytelling style and clarity
Responsibilities
- Run our social presence with guidance from marketing leadership (40%) – manage our organic social channels with intention, ensuring every post reflects our brand, product, and voice
- Draft, schedule, and track performance across LinkedIn, X, and others
- Help drive adoption of social sharing tools and strategies across the organization
- Create compelling content (30%) – help write blog posts and short-form content, repurpose quote, data, visual, and video content into attention-grabbing assets, and support campaign initiatives that showcase our products and amplify our perspective
- Coordinate content work streams (30%) – interview subject-matter experts, facilitate content creation and approvals, and shepherd assets from production to activation with sales, growth, and GTM teams
- Support PR & brand storytelling – help amplify earned media, customer stories, and product moments across our content and digital channels
- Measure what matters – track and analyze the performance of social and content efforts; bring insights and ideas to continually improve
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus
