Summary

Join Discovery Cube as a Marketing Intern (Unpaid) in Orange County to gain valuable experience in social media, PR, creative production, on-site signage, and marketing efforts. This part-time, unpaid internship requires a commitment of 2-3 days per week, approximately 4-5 hours per day.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a related degree program
• Basic understanding of marketing principles and a keen interest in digital media
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn project management tools
• Creative thinker with an eagerness to learn and contribute to team efforts
• Ability to balance priorities and thrive in a collaborative environment

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating production efforts across various channels, including digital and social media
• Support day-to-day workflows, tasks, calendars, and materials for marketing initiatives
• Contribute to digital marketing efforts, including content creation for social media
• Participate in organizing and preparing for media events and productions
• Learn and assist with the coordination of third-party vendors and community partnership engagement
• Build and maintain spreadsheets
• Organize production materials
• Collaborate with the marketing team on supporting social media campaigns and content creation across brands
• Assist with strategizing additional social media, PR, and marketing opportunities
