Summary
Join iHerb's Japan team as a Marketing professional responsible for managing daily KPIs, pacing, tracking, managing budgets, analyzing data, all paid marketing and marketplace management, including leading Performance media, Marketplace marketing (Amazon, Rakuten, Yahoo!, other) and driving successful overall digital marketing initiatives. This role will impact the Japan growth strategy, working at both the strategic and tactical levels, requiring new partnerships while optimizing current Marketplace marketing efforts. You will manage daily operations and collaborate with cross-functional team members internally and externally with partner teams. Drive customer acquisition strategies to attract new buyers and increase customer retention. Define key metrics to set and measure performance per channel within agreed budgets. Build and execute scalable paid media structures and activity to maximize spend and return.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of relevant e-commerce experience
- Bachelorβs degree required
- Must be fluent in Japanese and working level English
Responsibilities
- Drive customer acquisition strategies to attract new buyers and increase customer retention through marketing tactics
- Define key metrics to set and measure performance per channel within agreed budgets
- Build and execute scalable paid media structures and activity to ensure we can maximise spend and return
- Report daily, weekly results and progress against spend and sales plan. Analyze channel reports, translate findings into insights and actionable growth tactics
- Manage and optimize paid search campaigns, ensuring maximum ROI
- Develop paid media strategies aligned with the companyβs goals, negotiate media buys, explore new channels, and launch partnerships to enhance visibility with key focus on growing our customer base
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for iHerb Marketplaces on Amazon, Rakuten, Yahoo!, and other relevant platforms
- Manage Japan specific promotions, curations and coordinate with global teams on for retention campaigns
- Develop and execute email, retargeting, and loyalty programs aimed at increasing sales and customer lifetime value
- Work with cross-functional teams to create and execute innovative campaigns that resonate with local and global customer segments
- Execute promotions and product listing optimization to improve visibility, sales, and customer engagement
- Collaborate with the global marketing team to align marketplace strategies with overall brand goals
- Manage the local agencies in improving impact and relevancy to Japanese customers
- Proactively research partner's sites to ensure accuracy and delivery of our content, while continuously looking at ways to improve our brand position
- Support Japan team to define commercial strategies and trade marketing calendar to accelerate sales
