Summary

Join Creative Fabrica, a fast-scaling Amsterdam-based tech startup, as a seasoned B2C marketer with SaaS experience to lead customer lifecycle marketing. You will focus on email marketing, crafting messaging to educate potential users, support new customers, and run promotional campaigns. This pivotal role involves building and evolving email campaigns, managing onboarding and product marketing emails, and developing segmented communication paths. You will collaborate with marketers, creatives, product managers, analysts, and engineers to own and evolve multiple customer journey touchpoints. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in crafting resonant messages throughout the user journey and technical fluency with email marketing tools.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in tech or digital marketing, ideally in SaaS or eCommerce
  • 4+ years working in email marketing, lifecycle communications, or marketing automation
  • Proven success in leading lifecycle marketing strategy and execution
  • Strong background in crafting messages that resonate throughout every stage of the user journey
  • Technical fluency with email marketing tools - experience with platforms like Mailchimp, OneSignal, or similar is a must
  • Skilled in using CRM, marketing automation, and customer engagement platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
  • Confident decision-maker, even with incomplete data or in uncertain situations
  • Creative problem solver who can adapt quickly to evolving priorities

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve multiple touchpoints across the customer journey in collaboration with marketers, creatives, product managers, analysts, and engineers
  • Design and execute automated email campaigns covering lead nurturing, onboarding, customer retention, and win-back strategies
  • Champion fresh ideas to keep subscribers informed, engaged, and excited
  • Improve the quality and performance of communications by analyzing engagement metrics and sharing actionable insights
  • Maintain consistency in voice and message across all customer lifecycle interactions
  • Monitor competitor strategies and trends to inform our own initiatives and uncover new opportunities
