Summary

Join The Motley Fool's Member Retention team as a Marketing Operations Specialist! You'll be a key player in driving member retention and renewal, directly impacting the company's bottom line. Collaborate with a data-driven marketing team to build and launch multi-channel retention campaigns. Your responsibilities include developing subject matter expertise in marketing systems, coordinating with various teams, creating marketing assets, ensuring quality control, conducting A/B testing, analyzing data, and managing communications. This role requires experience in direct response marketing, customer engagement platforms, content management systems, and HTML/CSS. A detail-oriented, results-driven, and collaborative approach is essential for success.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting or leading direct response marketing campaigns
  • Experience with customer engagement and messaging platforms, building marketing campaigns to convert or retain customers
  • Experience with content management systems, project management tools (Jira)
  • Demonstrated experience working with and understanding HTML and CSS

  • You’re detail-oriented and have an eye for catching errors, bugs, typos, and inconsistencies in marketing funnels

Responsibilities

  • Develop subject matter expertise in our marketing and messaging systems to support our multi-channel retention strategies
  • Coordinate with marketing managers, copywriters, email operations, product managers, and legal team to build, launch, and maintain retention marketing campaigns
  • Orchestrate targeted onsite and email messaging to members that inspires and deepens engagement
  • Create and manage marketing assets like emails and landing pages using HTML and CSS
  • Provide quality control on our retention marketing campaigns; troubleshoot and remediating issues quickly
  • Set up and execute a variety of A/B tests across emails, onsite messages, and landing pages and ensure audience segmentation and targeting conditions are accurate
  • Analyze and monitor data to improve retention marketing campaigns, identify opportunities, and generate A/B test ideas
  • Anticipate, track, and execute required communications for renewal cohorts
