Summary
Join BSSP as a Media Strategist and lead media planning campaigns to achieve specific media objectives. Collaborate with clients to refine objectives and plans, purchase media, manage vendor relations, and optimize campaigns for best performance. Responsibilities include meticulous documentation, flawless campaign execution, insightful reporting, and strategic media project management. Stay updated on industry trends and leverage research to create strong target audience profiles. Confidently present campaign performance to clients and actively participate in client meetings. This role requires 2-3 years of agency experience, expertise in traditional and digital media planning/buying, particularly in search, and strong communication and presentation skills.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Lead media planning campaigns designed to achieve specific media objectives
- Collaborate with clients to refine media objectives & plans
- Purchase media and handle relations with media vendors
- Optimize campaign to achieve the best performance
- Reporting results to clients
- Master of all client and internal documentation with 100% accuracy, including (but not limited to) client flowcharts, tactical excel, media authorization and partner IOs
- Maintaining accurate records of media plans, flowcharts, budgets, MAFβs and campaign performance
- Oversees flawless campaign set-up and execution (Prisma IOβs, Tune-In Sheets, tagging/trafficking, launch memos)
- Implement media plans, including issuing insertion orders, entering buys into the system, creating spec sheets, etc
- Monitoring media campaigns to ensure they are pacing and performing,making optimizations as needed
- Owns all reporting with strong insight development that delivers on client needs
- Analyzing and presenting campaign performance to clients or internal stakeholders
- Responsible for providing insights and recommendations for future campaigns based on data analysis
- Staying updated with industry trends, emerging media platforms, and technological advancements that can impact media planning strategies and grow clientsβ business
- Use research resources to create strong target audience profiles, competitive insight, and marketplace opportunities
- Showcase strategic thinking in the development of strategy, planning, negotiations, and tactical execution of the plan
- Fully understand the tools used in media planning scenarios, like Commspoint
- Ability to confidently update and speak to internal and client status documents
- Owner of client launch emails to inform ongoing updates
- Ability to confidently present campaign performance to the client, showing solid knowledge around media strategies and tactics
- Be an active participant in client meetings, taking the lead when the discussion revolves around areas of responsibility
Benefits
$55,000 - $80,000 a year
