Requirements
- Live in the United States
- Bachelorโs degree or higher from four-year college or university; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2-4 years of customer/member service background
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation skills and active listening skills
- Outstanding organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to successfully manage many accounts and priorities
- Quick learner in order to understand new technology and communicate technical concepts to different audiences while paying special attention to detail
- Ability to understand organizational structure, products, and processes to educate both internal teams and members
- Highly collaborative with the ability to effectively work as part of a team and as an individual contributor
- Professional, positive and friendly approach; at ease when meeting new people and able to quickly build rapport, via phone, email, and in person
- Working knowledge of Google Suite
- Member-centered approach to work, with a personal goal to exceed expectations and determine systemic root causes for issues
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice to a portfolio of assigned member colleges and universities that are members of Common App
- Serve as the primary contact to assigned member colleges throughout the application year
- Offer best practices regarding the configuration of member-specific requirements within the application
- Share industry trends, member-specific statistics, and other pertinent information
- Work to ensure a smooth experience for member institutions throughout the application year
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Common App software and organization
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior management, staff, and member colleges and universities in a concise and positive manner
- Analytical ability
- Experience with Salesforce and Acuity Scheduling
- Project or account management experience
- Experience in higher education
