Mep Engineer

Requirements

• Comfortable working with MRP systems and other software to maintain inventory controls
• Knowledge and experience with developing manufacturer-level engineering documentation for mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to communicate effectively in English to interpret and accurately carry out both written and verbal instructions
• Must be honest and reliable

Responsibilities

• Assist the Engineering department with engineering documentation, including electrical schedules, bills of material, and technical specifications sheets
• Develop wiring diagrams for new products
• CAD drafting with AutoCAD
• Fishbowl MRP data entry, including new part and product creation
• Create new part numbers using the IAS naming schematic
• Draft part and product descriptions consistent with internal naming conventions
• Develop, Edit, and Mass upload data to MRP
• Inventory and materials management, including cycling parts for average costing
• Run inventory reports, set minimum stocking levels to trigger procurement

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in engineering documentation, CAD drafting, and MRP systems
