Mid Full Stack Engineer

Summary

Join Zipdev, a remote-first company building clean, data-rich applications, and contribute to the development of SaaS products for startups. We're looking for a Fullstack Engineer with 4+ years of experience in building web services using Kotlin, Spring, relational databases, Docker, and AWS. You'll be involved in building data tools and interfaces, acting as an architect to maintain code elegance, and collaborating with peers to enhance the development experience. The ideal candidate is fluent in Spring frameworks, Vue.js, and Typescript, and possesses strong database querying and object-oriented design skills. Requirements

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer
• Fluent with Spring frameworks, specifically Springboot
• Strong knowledge of Vue.js and Typescript
• Strong with database querying and performance concepts
• Strong object-oriented system designer
• Strong coding skills and ability to learn quickly
• Solid engineering capability with an eye toward performance, responsiveness, detail, and “feel”
• Currently living in Latin America

Responsibilities

• Work with startups launching SaaS products
• Build web services based on Kotlin, Spring, Relational Databases, Docker, and AWS
• Build data tools & interfaces
• Act like an architect to keep the code elegant and maintainable
• Work with your peers on tools to improve our joint dev experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for building and deployment
• Good working knowledge of the Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Digital Ocean, EC2, S3, Security, etc.)
