Summary
Join HackerRank's Mid-Market Commercial Sales team and play a key role in driving company growth. As an Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals with mid-sized tech companies. You'll build strong customer relationships, deliver product demos, and provide sales forecasting using CRM tools. This high-impact role offers opportunities for growth, influencing product direction, and shaping go-to-market strategies. Requirements
- 1-3 years of quota-carrying SaaS or technical sales experience, preferably in a B2B mid-market or commercial segment
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience with one or more sales methodologies (ie MEDDIC, SPIN, RAIN, Challenger, etc)
- Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce and sales engagement platforms
Responsibilities
- Own the complete sales process for mid-market accounts, from prospecting and discovery through to negotiation and close
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities, consistently meeting or exceeding quota
- Develop deep relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their hiring challenges and aligning HackerRank’s solutions to their needs
- Deliver tailored product demos and presentations to showcase how HackerRank drives technical hiring success
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
- Gather market insights and customer feedback to inform HackerRank’s product development and sales approach

- Collaborative – You work seamlessly across teams, bringing together Customer Account Teams, Product, and Marketing, etc., to meet customer needs
- Successful – You are results-driven, focused on customer outcomes, and take pride in achieving high sales metrics
Benefits
- Current base salary range: $60,000 to $75,000
- This sales role is eligible for incentive-based pay
- Annual total potential earnings, including base salary and incentive-based pay, $100,000 to $125,000 (based on quota attainment)
