Requirements

  • Proven experience in SaaS, Restaurant Technology, or Fintech managing Mid Market accounts
  • 2+ years of successful technology or professional services sales leadership experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in complex deal development, financial structuring, negotiations, and closing deals with new and existing clients
  • Proficiency with the MEDDPICC sales methodology, sales reporting, and pipeline tracking
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to executive-level stakeholders
  • Comfortable communicating and educating clients and team members on the basics of US credit card processing norms and practices
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required

Responsibilities

  • Train, and support Sales Account Executives within the Regional Mid Market vertical
  • Lead and manage the team to exceed individual sales quotas for bookings and revenue
  • Be involved in all stages of the sales lifecycle: lead generation, client meetings, value proposition development, deal structuring, contract negotiation, and closing
  • Ensure team members meet sales activity objectives and effectively progress prospects through the sales pipeline
  • Ensure timely and accurate CRM sales reporting and maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline, ensuring alignment with sales objectives
  • Communicate marketing strategies and product features to the sales team to ensure a thorough understanding
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and professional development to team members
  • Share insights on industry trends, successful deals, sales techniques, and implement best practices across the sales organization
  • Stay informed about the competitive landscape, including strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities, to position Toast effectively in the market
