The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 3-5 years of middle office experience (preferably in digital currencies), strong communication and analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel and financial software. Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Have 3-5 years of middle office experience, preferably within a multi-national, and ideally in digital currencies, trading or other financial services organisation
  • Be able to raise issues with peers and managers, as well as communicate with clients and business partners to negotiate terms, as necessary
  • Demonstrate an excellent ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and demonstrate self-reliance and self-motivation
  • Possess good initiative, a great sense of urgency and personal resilience to manage the ups and downs of fast-paced teams
  • Be proficient in Excel and financial software systems
  • Possess excellent communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners

Responsibilities

  • Monitor our accounts and portfolios, and assist in daily reconciliations using a combination of tools and analytic skills
  • Assist the trading team with asset management in various exchanges and follow up fund transfers when necessary
  • Work either individually, with other teams, or with external contacts to resolve any identified discrepancies and troubleshoot any systemic issues promptly and effectively
  • Manage creditor interactions, verifying terms, facilitating drawdown and payment of loan principal and interest, auditing invoices and addresses
  • Produce scheduled and unscheduled reports, analyses, and historical records as required by mandate or in support of other teams
  • Help in quality assurance practises and help developing manual processes into effective, automated processes
  • Conduct thorough break analysis and resolve discrepancies in trading data
  • Assist with various ad hoc projects and tasks as required by the team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have an understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and the regulatory landscape surrounding cryptocurrencies
  • Be a self-starter who goes beyond what is asked for to get the job done well
