Summary

Join LILT as a freelance monolingual data labeling contributor and help us create realistic text samples in Egyptian Arabic. This project involves generating short texts like emails, SMS messages, and social media posts, simulating everyday user communication. No translation experience is needed; native fluency in Egyptian Arabic and good English knowledge are required. A short test will be conducted before onboarding, and the project is estimated to last 1-3 months. This is a remote, freelance contractor position requiring an active Tipalti account for payment. The work will involve two stages: generating text samples and then proofreading AI-generated content.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in the target language, living in-country
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Creativity and accuracy in producing realistic, everyday content
• Good knowledge of English
• An active Tipalti account

Responsibilities

• Generate short text samples in your native language, including emails, SMS/text messages, and social media posts
• Create texts based on specific guidelines provided
• Simulate how an everyday user would naturally write messages in various digital formats
• Proofread and adapt/refine AI-generated content
• Ensure AI-generated content reads as an authentic reflection of how ordinary users communicate
