Motion Designer

Summary

Join Abridge as a Motion Designer and play a key role in visualizing complex ideas through dynamic animations and video content. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging content showcasing our brand, vision, and product. This part-time, 3-month contract role (with potential extension) requires at least 15-20 hours per week. Candidates should have a strong portfolio demonstrating motion design skills and experience in a fast-paced environment. Preference is given to candidates in the New York City Metropolitan area. Requirements

• A strong portfolio showcasing your motion design work from storyboard through to execution
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and can tackle multiple projects simultaneously
• Passion for design and visual storytelling. You have an eye for detail and enjoy finding new ways to help tell a story
• You are comfortable with design tools (Figma, Adobe) or have experience editing videos
• Candidates must be open to working at least 15-20 hours a week

Responsibilities

• Design and animate high-quality motion graphics
• Help showcase our product and our brand through compelling 2D animated assets that can be used across our website, social media, customer and educational videos, events, and more
• Produce compelling concepts and storyboards
• Own the development process for motion graphics, from concept to deliverable, create designs and storyboards to bring the team’s vision to life through animation
• Collaborate across teams
• Work with the design and video team amongst other stakeholders to help produce assets that elevate our brand
• Innovate and help develop our motion design principles
• Help us grow our visual language by building on our current style guide to include motion and ensure a high level of polish and consistency throughout the brand

Preferred Qualifications

• You have previous experience building out motion design guidelines for a company
• Candidates in the New York City Metropolitan area are preferred
