Summary
Join EquipmentShare's growing Advanced Solutions division as a National Technical Support Specialist β Climate Control! This remote/travel-based role requires expertise in HVAC and climate control solutions. You will support sales, design custom solutions, and manage projects. The position demands strong technical skills, excellent communication, and frequent travel. Requirements
- Possess a strong technical understanding of temporary climate control systems including HVAC, chillers, heaters, air handling units, and pumps
- Demonstrate a proven ability to size, design, and specify complex solutions
- Have a solid grasp of heating and cooling principles, basic engineering, and the ability to read schematics
- Possess excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Have the willingness and ability to travel frequently across assigned regions
- Have a High school diploma or equivalent
- Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in HVAC or climate control-related roles
- Be able to walk job sites, climb stairs/ladders, and evaluate equipment setups
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds periodically
- Possess a valid driverβs license with a clean driving record
- Pass a 10-panel drug screen
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert for climate control equipment (including HVAC, dehumidification, and more) across a variety of vertical markets
- Support sales activities by assisting reps with customer-facing engagements, product recommendations, and application-based solution development
- Conduct job walks, site assessments, and needs evaluations to size and design appropriate temporary climate control solutions
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction
- Assist in quoting specialized equipment packages tailored to customer project specifications
- Lead project management efforts for large or complex job setups, including coordination of logistics, commissioning and operation
- Deliver ongoing product and application training to internal sales and operations teams to improve technical capabilities
- Stay current with emerging technologies and product innovations by collaborating with internal product teams and manufacturers
- Participate in sales presentations with internal teams, offering technical credibility and application expertise
Preferred Qualifications
- Possess technical certifications
- Have previous experience in a customer-facing pre-sales technical support role
