Requirements
- A minimum of two (2) yearsโ experience in the not-for-profit sector, with volunteer services programs, special events programs and their management and administration
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with Raiserโs Edge (or similar CRM)
Responsibilities
- Recruit, screen, train, and supervise volunteers as the program grows nationally
- Build and maintain an active roster of community-based volunteers in key markets to support organizational goals
- Act as the main liaison between field operations staff and volunteers, ensuring smooth coordination and satisfaction
- Plan and execute volunteer logistics for national events, community activities, and corporate engagement initiatives
- Lead volunteer appreciation efforts, including National Volunteer Week activities and special events
- Maintain accurate records in Raiserโs Edge, contributing to reports on volunteer hours, program outcomes, and KPIs
- Evaluate the Volunteer Program regularly for efficiency and growth opportunities, supporting strategic planning initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education and/or experience in volunteer management, human resources, social work, or similar field
- Fluency in English and French
