Summary

Join PingWind as a .NET Developer to contribute to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Enterprise Architecture Technical Architecture Support (EATAS) project. You will design, develop, and maintain software applications using the .NET framework, collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires applying extensive knowledge to solve complex problems, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring development team excellence. The position is remote and demands a minimum of 8 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Requirements

  • Have eight years of experience in .NET Development (including MS.NET , C#, MVC 4+, and Internet Information Services (IIS) for Windows Server web development)
  • Have five years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle Process (SDLC)
  • Have five years of experience with software development Unit Testing, System Testing, Functional Testing, User Acceptance Testing, or other development testing experience
  • Have five years of experience in SQL database development stored procedures
  • Have at least 1 year of experience in Azure function apps
  • Have five years of experience mentoring junior personnel on proper practices and procedures
  • Have five years of experience documenting software defects using a bug tracking system and reporting defects to software developers and project managers
  • Be willing to work in Jira and keep user story related tasks through Jira board communicating regularly any risks and appropriate status’ with other team members
  • Have 8 years of related experience
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Have experience in Azure API manager and function apps
  • Have the ability to work with NodeJS
  • Have the ability to understand Jenkins pipelines and automation
  • Have the ability to stay accountable to the team and complete work items in a timely manner
  • Be willing to balance multiple priorities
  • Be detail and task oriented

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using the .NET framework
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs
  • Apply extensive knowledge and experience to solve complex technical problems
  • Mentor junior developers
  • Ensure the overall technical excellence of the development team
