Summary

Join WiredPeople as a .NET Developer and contribute to the development and maintenance of our Health Management System (HMS)! This hybrid role, based in Tallahassee, FL, requires onsite work as needed. You will be responsible for developing new and existing functionalities, collaborating with program offices to gather requirements, and ensuring the application meets user needs through rigorous testing. Experience with .NET frameworks, HMS systems, and Agile methodologies is essential. The position offers a hybrid work schedule.

Requirements

  • 2 years demonstrated experience with implementing Health Care Systems within .NET frameworks
  • 2 years demonstrated experience with an HMS system, other clinic management, or electronic health record software built on .NET framework
  • 2 years demonstrated experience writing, developing user and system requirements
  • 1 year demonstrated experience with Agile software development, project management and testing practices
  • 3 years demonstrated experience in analysis, testing, and flowcharting and unified modeling
  • 3 years demonstrated experience using SQL
  • 3 years demonstrated experience with formal software testing
  • 3 years demonstrated experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting

Responsibilities

  • Develop user requirement documents, design documents, and screen presentations based on user requirements, user input and feedback
  • Provide research and analytical services for defects, enhancements, and systems as they emerge, as required
  • Meet with the program offices to collect user requirements and facilitate the development of requirements documentation for defects and enhancements to the HMS system
  • Facilitate development using object-oriented design methodology and design using the Unified Modeling Language and/or Flow Charts
  • Develop test cases and scripts to test the application and provide support, software testing, and quality assurance to ensure that the application meets requirements, per the user requirements
  • Provide work estimates, communication, and updates for Release Planning, Sprint Planning, and Daily Scrum, daily in the time indicated on the work tickets to implement system feature enhancements or additions and bug fixes
  • Document and follow IT processes and ensure compliance with established standards
  • Complete job-required training as assigned. Completion verification may include certificates, sign-in sheets, and/or verification
