Netsuite Principal Consultant

Summary

Join our team as a NetSuite Principal Consultant and play a pivotal role in the successful implementation of NetSuite solutions for our valued client. This remote position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain implementation. You will lead full-cycle NetSuite implementation projects, translating complex business requirements into technical designs. Responsibilities span all project phases, from discovery to deployment, and include acting as the highest escalation point for functional issues. You will perform fit/gap analysis, develop diagrams, and lead project management activities. Collaboration with the in-house development team is crucial for implementing custom solutions. This role demands a strong background in consulting and NetSuite expertise, along with a willingness to travel and adapt to flexible working hours.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant consulting experience or industry experience with high specialization in a specific industry and/or product vertical
• Undergraduate degree or MBA in Business, Finance, Accounting, Software, or a relevant field
• Strong background in finance/accounting, consulting, and advisory services, and general/specific industry experience
• Experience leading and acting in a Solution Architect capacity across varying project sizes and complexity (small to enterprise-level implementations across different ERP platforms)
• At least 10-15+ end-to-end manufacturing-related NetSuite implementations and hands-on technical/functional NetSuite ERP implementation experience

Responsibilities

• Lead and act as a Solution Architect for full-cycle NetSuite implementation projects of varying sizes and complexities
• Translate complex business requirements and processes into NetSuite technical designs
• Handle solution delivery responsibilities across all project phases (discovery, design, build, testing, training, and deployment)
• Act as the highest level of escalation on functional issues within delivery teams
• Perform fit/gap analysis on business requirements for system design and execution
• Develop wireframe and schematic diagrams to support customer requirements gathering and business process discovery
• Lead project management activities such as project planning, work breakdown structures, and change control
• Collaborate with the in-house development team to implement custom solutions and develop comprehensive Technical Design Documents
• Act proactively as a trusted client advocate, providing implementation and industry best practices
• Contribute to internal initiatives, including resource mentorship and ongoing education
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and develop NetSuite product skills as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• NetSuite certifications (NetSuite ERP Consultant, NetSuite Certified Administrator, and SuiteFoundation)
• Experience and knowledge of best practices surrounding NetSuite technical capabilities (SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, and SuiteTalk), and effectiveness in designing end-to-end solutions using these capabilities
• Experience with specialized NetSuite process areas and products (Advanced Manufacturing, Advanced Revenue Management, Demand Planning, Services Resource Planning, OpenAir, and SuiteCommerce Advanced)
