Summary

Join Afar, an award-winning travel media brand, as a part-time Newsletter Producer to support our email program. This role involves building daily and weekly editorial newsletters and collaborating with the marketing team on sponsored email campaigns. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in digital publishing, strong organizational and collaboration skills, and a passion for travel. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop email and content strategy skills within a fast-growing company. The position requires 40-50 hours per month and offers an hourly rate of $25-$30.

Requirements

• Have 1-3 years of experience in digital publishing
• Be extremely detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative
• Be interested in learning about content marketing
• Have excellent time management skills
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Have experience working with an email CRM software

Responsibilities

• Build Afar’s daily and weekly editorial newsletter sends
• Partner with marketing team to manage assets and build all sponsored email campaigns

Preferred Qualifications

• Sailthru and Canva experience is a plus
• Be passionate about travel and travel journalism
• Preferably have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Business, or equivalent experience
