Nutanix Consultant

Summary

MetroSys is seeking a skilled Nutanix Consultant for a 6-month contract to design, implement, and optimize Nutanix solutions for clients. The consultant will work closely with clients' IT teams, provide training, and ensure seamless integration of Nutanix environments.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Nutanix Consultant or in a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of Nutanix technologies, including AHV, AOS, Prism, and Calm
• Strong understanding of virtualization, storage, and networking concepts
• Experience with Nutanix deployment, configuration, and optimization
• Familiarity with Nutanix hardware platforms and compatibility
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' existing IT infrastructure. Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization using Nutanix solutions. Develop detailed implementation plans and timelines
• Design and Implementation: Design Nutanix solutions tailored to clients' specific requirements. Lead the deployment and configuration of Nutanix environments. Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and applications
• Optimization and Troubleshooting: Monitor and optimize Nutanix environments for performance, reliability, and scalability. Provide proactive maintenance and support to prevent issues. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
• Client Training and Support: Provide training and knowledge transfer to clients' IT staff on Nutanix best practices. Offer ongoing support and guidance to ensure clients maximize the value of their Nutanix investments
• Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of Nutanix implementations, configurations, and procedures. Generate regular reports on system performance, issues, and resolutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Nutanix certifications (NCP, NCAP, NCSE) are highly desirable
• Experience with other virtualization and cloud platforms is a plus
