Occupational Therapist

Summary

Masada is expanding its OT department and seeking new graduates or experienced Occupational Therapists to provide community mental health services. The position involves working in a supportive environment, providing outpatient services for adults with various behavioral health challenges, and driving between clients. Strong organization and communication skills are required. A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Occupation Therapy from an accredited program and certification by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy are necessary. A valid California Driver's License and COVID-19 vaccination are also required. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (graduates of a qualified Occupational Therapy program prior to 2004), Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Successfully graduated from an accredited entry-level occupational therapy program recognized by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education
• Certified by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy
• Currently licensed by the California Board of Occupational Therapy
• Valid California Driver's License, good driving record
• COVID-19 Vaccination and booster (when eligible)

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient community mental health services to adult clients ages 18-end of life
• Drive between clients and be autonomous in scheduling their assigned caseload weekly

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual Spanish speaking is strongly preferred

• Competitive Salary: Tier 1: $75,000-$85,000 per year. Tier 2: $85,001- $95,000 per year
