Summary
Join Sprout Social's Professional Services team as an Onboarding Consultant based in North America. You will manage customers' onboarding experiences, ensuring their success in achieving business goals. Proactively support customers throughout the process using various communication methods. Manage ongoing onboarding projects with deliverables shared among stakeholders. Consistently meet and exceed quantitative goals and demonstrate qualitative behaviors supporting team members and customers. The role requires 2+ years of experience in account management or client relations within the technology industry, experience delivering product education sessions, and in-depth social media knowledge. Growth opportunities include a comprehensive training program, mentorship, and opportunities to expand customer engagement.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in an account management / client relationship role in the technology industry
- Experience delivering customized and engaging product education sessions via web conference software with a focus on adoption of the tool, helping customers to solve problems that aren’t always straightforward (or alternatively the equivalent professional experience in adult education)
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, and a general understanding of the social media industry
Responsibilities
- Manage customers’ tailored and value-driven onboarding experience that ensures customers are set up for success in achieving their business goals
- Proactively support and assist customers throughout their onboarding process, leveraging multiple communication methods like video calls and email, with an unwavering commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience
- Manage ongoing onboarding projects with deliverables that are shared with multiple stakeholders
- Consistently meet and exceed quantitative goals and exemplify qualitative behaviors that support team members and customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Able to identify and align a customer’s goals and objectives with Sprout’s value, capabilities, and solution
- Project management experience with ability to manage simultaneous software implementations for multiple clients
- Superior organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to show empathy, patience, and critical thinking at every stage of the customer journey
- Experience in mentoring team members and collaborating with internal partners
- Salesforce.com or other CRM experience is a plus
