Summary

Requirements

  • Must be the proud recipient of a ODS Certification
  • 3+ years direct data abstraction experience in the Cancer Registry
  • 1+ years providing coaching and guidance to teams
  • Exposure to patient medical record systems (EMRs) and clinical databases
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Microsoft Excel)

Responsibilities

  • Monitor team productivity for abstracting, case finding, and follow-up to meet team targets
  • Conduct weekly team reviews of the dashboard to identify performance issues and share findings with Senior Manager/Manager
  • Understand partner expectations and maintain high partner satisfaction through regular communication
  • Take ownership of partner deliverables, including accurate and timely submissions and case completion
  • Monitor compliance for CoC accreditation
  • Champion QC technology for internal workflow improvement
  • Act as the primary owner for new implementations and projects
  • Perform other quality-related tasks as assigned
  • Handle less than 5% abstraction tasks, as needed
