Online Learning Advisor

Summary

Join Federation University Online as an Online Learning Adviser (OLA) and make a positive impact on student learning. This 100% remote position offers flexible hours and a paid training course. As an OLA, you will deliver academic content, facilitate learning activities, and undertake assessment tasks. You will need a minimum Master's degree in a relevant field, 5 years of industry experience, and strong communication and presentation skills. This role provides the opportunity to develop your online teaching skills within a supportive team and contribute to student success.

Requirements

• Hold a minimum Masters in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics or Health Promotion (accreditation is required with the Nutrition Board of Australia)
• Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience
• Be motivated by student success and passionate about online learning
• Be a passionate and clear communicator
• Have strong presentation skills and the ability to maintain an engaging and positive online presence
• Be proactive and organised
• Thrive in a remote working environment

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional student experience through the delivery of academic content developed by our partner academics and our learning design team
• Facilitate learning activities that engage and support student learning
• Undertake assessment tasks (including moderation, marking, and feedback) as well as processing and submitting results according to set timelines

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in pathology, anatomy, chemistry/ biochemistry
