Operations Manager, Remote - Hungary

Summary

The Operations Manager will be responsible for daily operation, service delivery, and strategy in mainframe services at IT-Services Hungary (ITSH). This role involves supervising operations, coordinating service delivery activities, handling problems and conflicts, working with connected units to develop and optimize processes, generating reports, providing commercial support, and participating in projects. Fluent German and advanced English language knowledge are required, while experience with mainframe application and operation, management abilities, and experience in a similar role are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operating of the given type of mainframe services, while maintaining respective service levels, deadlines and budgetary limitations
• Coordinate the service delivery activities, monitor the work progress, and handle emerging problems and conflicts
• Work in close collaboration with lead Service Delivery Management involved and other connected units, on developing and optimizing processes on priorities
• Ensure that changes are implemented, and incidents and problems are handled within the undertaken deadlines and at the contracted service levels
• Generate, customize and maintain delivery reports (eg. showing agreed service KPIs, service levels, assets and costs)
• Supporting SDeM during creation of reasonable mainframe deployment orders
• Participate in projects, development of new services or on demand

Preferred Qualifications

• Agile methodology knowledge is an advantage
• Experience with Mainframe application and operation
• Management abilities would be an advantage as well as the readiness to take over responsibility also for difficult topics with a full engagement
• Experience in similar role
