Summary

Join Kokua Education as their Operations Manager and play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining high-quality standards. You will be responsible for placing teachers in classrooms, managing daily tasks and priorities, building relationships with schools and teachers, utilizing data to drive innovation, and ensuring alignment across teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of management experience (preferably in education), and exceptional communication and people skills. Requirements

  • Operational Strategy - Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness. - Identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives to optimize processes, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction. - Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure Kokua Education remains at the forefront of operational excellence
  • Process Optimization - Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities to streamline operations and eliminate inefficiencies. - Implement standardized processes and procedures to ensure consistent delivery of services. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess process effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
  • Team Management and Collaboration - Provide leadership and guidance to a team of operations professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. - Collaborate cross-functionally with the marketing, finance, talent and human resources teams to ensure seamless operations. - Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching and mentorship, and identify training needs for team members
  • External Partner Management - Monitor relationship trends and performance and conduct regular evaluations to maintain high standards of service
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of management experience, preferably in the education industry
  • Experience working with diverse teams and communities

  • Exceptional written/verbal communication and people skills

Preferred Qualifications

Ticket-based customer support experience a plus
