Summary
Join our remote team as an Operations Manager and oversee the day-to-day operations of our Global Business Services (GBS), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), and Project Management Office (PMO) teams. You will monitor team performance, facilitate communication, track progress, and foster a positive work environment. This role involves analyzing team output, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with senior management. You will also identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery. Requirements
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a GBS or Shared Services environment
- Strong understanding of BPO processes and project management principles
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with team members and leadership
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in technology and project management tools, with a strong aptitude for data analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Comfortable working remotely and leading a distributed team
Responsibilities
- Monitor the activities and performance of team members, particularly within the GBS, BPO, and PMO teams
- Keep track of the billability of all team members
- Set up and lead daily/weekly/monthly touch base meetings to engage with team members, assess their workload, and ensure they are effectively utilizing their time
- Track progress on ongoing projects and tasks, provide guidance, and identify any roadblocks or challenges that need to be addressed
- Analyse team output and individual performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and training needs
- Implement strategies to enhance productivity, streamline operations, and promote best practices across the teams
- Work closely with senior management to align team activities with company goals and objectives
- Provide regular updates and reports on team performance, project statuses, and any issues that could impact operations
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within GBS, BPO, and PMO operations to enhance efficiency and service delivery
