Summary
Join Hims & Hers Health, Inc. as an Operations Planner to support production planning for our growing business. You will leverage your problem-solving skills and experience to determine target inventory levels and generate a production plan that aligns with sales and inventory goals. This role requires collaboration with various teams, including Demand Planning and R&D, to ensure efficient production and inventory management. You will be responsible for managing finished goods inventory, communicating forecast discrepancies, and driving accountability to production plans. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of experience in production or supply planning, proficiency in inventory management, and strong analytical and communication skills. Requirements
- 3+ years experience in at least 1 of the following: Production planning, Supply planning
- Proficient in inventory management concepts with an understanding of the financial and operational implications of planning decisions
- Excel proficiency including experience with data manipulations β Lookups, PivotTables, External Data Connections
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to think through complex problems and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized
- Demonstrated ability to organize resources and analyze alternatives to make effective decisions
Responsibilities
- Bring appropriate resources together to build out a weekly production plan and drive alignment across the labs
- Make or recommend revision to planned production when schedules cannot be met
- Manage finished goods inventory for compounded products within company guidance while maintaining click to deliver metrics for customers
- Work cross functionally with Demand Planning to communicate any forecast discrepancies and understand risks and opportunities
- Drive accountability with adherence to production plans
- Articulate and document all risks resulting from production capacity
- Work with R&D to balance production and R&D pilot time requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Basic SQL and/or Python experience is a plus
